It is a combination of postures, breathing techniques and meditation. Yoga however is not just postures and breathing techniques. It is a science that is best followed for the whole of our lives. It is divided in to 8 branches:

It is very important to practice yoga as a daily routine to ward off diseases. It has a very important role in healing also.
